We are delighted to announce the dates of the 2011 conference to you. The past five years we have been providing quality educational events for alpaca owners and breeders and their vets, as well as people interested in learning about alpacas.
Our keynote speaker for 2011 is Dr. Patrick Long from Oregon. Dr. Long has extensive camelid experience and will present lecture topics on Saturday, March 12, 2011 and a Neonatal Clinic and Wet Lab on Sunday, March 13, 2011. The conference will be hosted by the University of Minnesota - Veterinarian School of Medicine.
We wish to welcome Dr. Long to Minnesota and are sure his experience and knowledge is an asset to alpaca and lama breeders. This is a wonderful
opportunity to deepen our knowledge and understanding of our camelids, so we
can provide our herds with excellent care.
The conference is a two-day event. Individuals may register for one or both days. Since the registration for the neonatal clinic is limited, be sure to sign up early if you plan to attend.
